Our very first 15 litres of liquid soap made for a new Ugandan cleaning business. It was important to them that they offer their clients a natural, vegetable-based soap in their office and home cleaning services so they approached us and I was able to guide the women through the production process from afar. Due to the pandemic, I haven't been able to travel to Uganda since November 2019 so all mentoring and training taking place is virtual these days! What is wonderful about this is that it allows Mama Mzungu to use our ever-growing mountain of soap offcuts to create a beautiful liquid soap product. It took some trial and error to get the thickness and lather just right but they have perfected it now and we look forward to supplying this new business as well an any other kinds of businesses across Uganda that might be interested. It would be perfect for the hospitality and restaurant trades. We will not be bottling this product and shipping it around the globe. It will purely be a local-based product. A great way to not let any of our natural soap go to waste!
