Made of locally-sourced coconut oil, castor oil, shea butter and food-grade additives (which act as natural colourants and/or exfoliants) and scented with pure essential oils. We use absolutely no animal ingredients, chemicals, synthetic preservatives, fragrances or dyes in our soaps. All are produced to EU Cosmetic Regulations, are 100% natural and vegan and contain no palm oil. Handcrafted and cured for 2-3 weeks, our soap is then hand trimmed and come in an eco-friendly manila paper wrap. Each finished bar weighs approximately 120g grams. The curing process allows for all water content to evaporate out of the finished product, leaving customers with a hard, long lasting bar of soap that retains 100% of its natural glycerin, is highly moisturising, gentle for all skin types and lathers nicely. We also ‘superfat’ all of our recipes, meaning that an extra percentage of plant oils are added in order to make our soaps all the more moisturising. For added-value job creation, our members also grow some of the natural ingredients we use (i.e. peppermint, turmeric, cinnamon). All fabric packaging for our gift range of soaps are also handsewn by the women.
